HOW TO GET WEALTH AS A CHRISTIAN
Gold and silver belong to God; it is God who gives the power to gain wealth and wealth to men. However, your mindset may be what hinders God from releasing these blessings. Transformation through the word of God signals to God that you are ready to manage His wealth. If God were to give you wealth without you being transformed, it could destroy you.
Psalm 1 clearly explains how wealth can come to a man without sorrow and destruction:
**Psalms 1:1-6 (NLT)**
1. Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers.
2. But they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night.
3. They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do.
4. But not the wicked! They are like worthless chaff, scattered by the wind.
5. They will be condemned at the time of judgment; sinners will have no place among the godly.
6. For the Lord watches over the path of the godly, but the path of the wicked leads to destruction.
The greater your transformation, the greater the riches of God will be entrusted to you.
**Matthew 6:33 (NLT)**
33. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need.
What does it mean to "seek the kingdom of God"? To seek the kingdom of God is to dedicate oneself to prayer, reading and meditating on the Word of God, and acting on it. Psalms 1:1-3 highlights the effects of committing ourselves to meditation.
**Psalms 1:1-3 NLT**
[1] Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers. [2] But they delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night. [3] They are like trees planted along the riverbank, bearing fruit each season. Their leaves never wither, and they prosper in all they do.
When we devote ourselves to the ministry of the Word and prayer, we allow the mind that was in Christ to be in us through the power of the Holy Spirit at work within us.
**Philippians 2:5 KJV**
[5] Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.
When the mind of Christ Jesus fully operates within us, we begin to think like Him, speak like Him, and act like Him, making decisions like Him. When the mind of Jesus is fully in operation within us, everything we do will prosper, and we will automatically experience success and prosperity.
Conclusion
Devote sufficient time each day to pray, read the Word of God, and meditate on it day and night. This practice will allow the Spirit of God to transform your mind to be like that of Christ Jesus.
