WHAT IS HUMILITY?
What is humility?
The reward for humility and fear of the Lord is riches and honor and life.
Humility is when a person thinks him/her self as not being important or better than another person. Humility is a state of a person's mindset: how that person ranks people and activities relative to him/her-self. Humility is not simplicity, though humility can produce simplicity. Humility is inward, while simplicity is outward.

Humility is found in the mind of people. The mind of humans is the controlling unit of the physical actions and speeches of a person, while the spirit is the controlling unit of the mind. Humility is required in accessing breakthrough in all aspects/spheres of life. E.g health, wealth, relationship etc..

Humility is required in sustaining relationship. Without the ingredients of humility in love, love can be tend ineffective and useless. Humility is the force that move the body of love. A believer needs humility to gain riches, honor and life from God. But we must know that humility is a product of mind transformation by the word of God. NO MAN IS HUMBLE. it is the power of circumcision by the Holy spirit through the word of God and prayers that makes a man humble. Humility increases spontaneously as love increases.

Humility is very important in accessing riches, honor and life because,
1. A humble person, accept instructions from God and people in authority over him and do them without challenging the instructions or un-willing acting on command. This makes that person to be trusted by God and men. When that person is trusted to loyal/faithful, favour, blessings all good things comes from God through people to him/her.

Humility comes from God to the mind of believers through revelation by the spirit of God breathing on the word of God. When a believer completely RELY, TRUST AND ADHERE to the word of God, then that individual is said to be humble. Remember God lift the humble and brings down the proud.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO RELY, TRUST AND ADHERE TO THE WORD OF GOD.
1. TO RELY: this simply means you seeking the will of God in every matter of life through prayers, reading and meditating on the word of God. Doing away with your own logical conclusion on what to do in every matter of life or situation.

2. TO TRUST: This simply means you believing the following;
1. God is not a man that will lie or fail, what ever he asks you to do, do it. And whatever he promise to do, surely he will do it.
2. His words are powerful, fulfilling the purpose he sent it to do. The word of God, can never fail.
3. TO ADHERE: this is you doing what God have instructed you to do. This is total obedience.
Therefore we can say that humility is the foundation of faith.
Humility produces a heart of gratitude. When you humble yourself to do the instructions of God and surely see the results, it causes your heart to be thankful because you know it is God and not you who have won the victory.
Prideful breakthroughs are not gotten through faith, because anything gotten through faith causes a person's heart to humble and full of gratitude to God.
CONCLUSIONS.
1. Always create time to pray, read and meditate on the word of God, and also fellowship with the brethren. This inject faith into your heart.
2. Faith causes you to completely RELY, TRUST AND ADHERE to the God's instructions which is humility.
3. Humility always causes your heart to be grateful to God, know that it is not you but God working things out for your good. And this makes you never to compare yourself with people but only to love them, stay peace with people and respect them.
